Instructions
- Place the food in a cold, non-stick skillet without oil. If cooking chicken breasts, lightly coat both sides of each breast with oil.
- Place the skillet over high heat and sear the food without moving it for two minutes, then flip the food over and sear another two minutes.
- Reduce the heat to medium, flip the food and continue cooking, flipping every two minutes until the interior of the food reaches the desired temperature.
- Remove from heat, let the food rest at least 5 minutes, then serve.
